Today’s word, I used one of the alternate definitions. I’m feeling “flighty” today!!
Inktober 2016 – Day 18: “Escape”
Some days everthing just reaches a point where you say, “Stop the world! I wanna get off!” If hubby’s picking you up from work because the car’s in the shop, you may be able to twist the world enough for a mini-escape! 🙂
InkTober 2016 – Day 17: “Battle”
I’m not a war fan, and didn’t want to think of real battles. So I depicted the internal battle in my brain every day…  the chores almost always win – I *try* to be a good girl!!  🙂
P.S.  check out this super song that fits it well. I love the way Yvonne Silva added the background sounds – to me they represent the battle noises. 🙂

InkTober 2016 – Day 16: “Wet”
Today’s word is a good Washington State word, eh?  😉
Thought of this drawing right away.Definitely want to consider doing this in a big sketch and color. Would be fun!
Kinda hard to see. Not sure if this helps?

InkTober 2016 – Day 15: “Relax”
Day 15! Â Almost halfway!!
Today’s word, “relax” of all things, seems easy enough. But all day – and for the last few days – we hear of the coming storm. What to do? Â Best thing is to dig in, be prepared, and relax! Â Lol
InkTober 2016 – Day 14: “Tree”
Tree… branches… leaves… building to something greater than the individual components…
Made me think of how I’ve been trying to find my way around the new phone with the android system. *sigh* when you learn, you exercise the brain, right?
Sorry for smudges. Â But notice you don’t see the puddles of sweat! Â Lol
InkTober 2016 – Day 13: “Scared”
I have to thank Ayla for this one. She asked me tonight (worship team practice), “What are you scared of? Spiders?” I told her, “Nope, I usually catch them in a cup with a sheet of paper, and bring them back outside!”
Made me think of how they run away, so scared at first. When they finally give in and hop on the paper, it’s a quick trip back to freedom. Hopefully family is waiting to welcome them back! 🙂
InkTober 2016 – Day 12: “Worried”
Today’s was easy, too. Yes, the morning started out like this… The mechanic said it would be ok to drive, but the car feels like something is really dragging it down… Yes, I’m worried – mostly about how much it will cost to fix…
InkTober 2016 – Day 11: “Transport”
Tee Hee!! I think I just drew a cartoon of my husband and me as kids! Wishful thinking? Imaginary reminiscing? I know he would have tipped me out at least once!!
InkTober 2016 – Day 10: “Jump”
Today’s word brought back a lot of memories. Why don’t we jump rope anymore as a team? When did that become uncool? Hm…
